Residential Demolition and Excavation

demolition

As a homeowner on the Central Coast of NSW, you may find yourself needing to tear down and remove a specific part of your property, but that’s not a job you can do alone. Bliss Demolition is here to serve the area of the Central Coast and beyond with professional and reliable residential demolition and excavation services.

Why Demolition and Excavation?

Demolition, the process of tearing down and removing a building structure, is often a necessary evil for homeowners. We understand there are some situations in which renovating a home simply isn’t a viable option. Perhaps your home is so old that repairing it isn’t cost efficient, or maybe you purposefully purchased a decrepit home in order to clear the land and build your customised dream house. Some homeowners are forced to demolish their dwellings due to problems and dangers that are beyond repair, like a broken foundation or uncontrollable pest infestation.

Residential demolition and excavation can also address more than the home structure itself. Other common reasons for demolition and excavation among homeowners include demolishing and/or removing pools, sheds, barns, garages, fences, and out-buildings.

The Benefits of Working with Bliss Demolition

Demolition is a dangerous job that requires the professional attention of demolition specialists like the team members at Bliss Demolition. We have more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of residential demolition, so we are ready to efficiently demolish and remove all structures according to your needs, including footings, trees, stumps, and vegetation.

Bliss Demolition will also work closely with you to retain specific structures during demolition if needed, like an existing garage, appliances, or swimming pool. We will collaborate to understand your goals and then carefully complete the project according to your wishes.

At Bliss Demolition, we believe in earning your business every step of the way. We will begin by providing you with an all-inclusive quote that covers everything from the commencement of demolition to its completion and clean up. Bliss Demolition will handle all aspects of the demolition- including safe asbestos removal- by the agreed upon date, allowing you to place your focus on other important matters.

Bliss Demolition Takes Recycling Seriously

Demolition has the potential to be a very wasteful process, but at Bliss Demolition we have our own recycling yard in order to save as much demolition debris from the landfill as possible. We care about the environment and take our role in sustainability very seriously. Everything from windows to doors and timbers can be reused or recycled, so we don’t let anything pass us by!

Commercial Demolition

Like residential homes, small and large business properties often need to be demolished rather than repaired and salvaged. From shopping centres and office buildings to hotels and apartments, Bliss Demolition can handle it all safely and efficiently.

The Applications of Commercial Demolition

Though commercial properties are usually built to last, they can’t last forever. When a commercial site requires demolition, the project must be done with care to prevent damage to nearby buildings and businesses. Most commercial buildings constructed before 1980 contain asbestos, and safe removal requires the expertise of a demolition company like Bliss Demolition.

Trust Bliss Demolition with Your Commercial Needs

Commercial demolition projects are under the scrutiny of many different parties, which makes the efficiency, timeliness, and quality of demolition all the more critical. With more than 450 projects successfully completed in the Central Coast area, Bliss Demolition offers the manpower, expertise, and equipment necessary to achieve a successful commercial demolition.

We are fully licensed and insured, so whether you need to hand-strip parts of a job, arrange restricted vehicle access, work around existing structures, or complete a full demolition of a large building, we are prepared for the task. We also are acutely aware of our environmental responsibilities and have recycled more than 1,600 tonnes of demolition debris in our own major recycling plant.

At Bliss Demolition on the Central Coast, we believe in earning your business every step of the way. We will begin by providing you with an all-inclusive quote that covers everything from the commencement of demolition to its completion and clean up. Bliss Demolition will handle all aspects of the demolition- including safe asbestos removal- by the agreed upon date, allowing your company to focus on other important matters.

Asbestos Removal

asbestos

The removal and disposal of asbestos is a specialist service that should not be undertaken by unqualified and unskilled persons.
The professional team at Bliss Demolition are fully trained and licensed for the removal and disposal of all bonded asbestos related materials.

The Danger of Asbestos

Asbestos is an inexpensive material that functions efficiently as a fire-retardant and thermal insulator, so it was utilised extensively in home and commercial construction between the 1940s and 1980s. However, scientists have since discovered that long term exposure to asbestos fibres can lead to lung disease.

This is a major problem since it’s common to find asbestos in everything from vinyl floor tiles, window caulking, and roofing material to HVAC duct insulation, thermal insulation, and blown-in attic insulation. The danger arises when the item containing asbestos is disturbed, because even the smallest disruption causes tiny abrasive asbestos fibres to be released into the air and inhaled. While materials in good condition don’t pose a huge threat, items containing asbestos that have been damaged over time will release a steady stream of deadly asbestos fibres.

Safely disposing of asbestos is a critical element of residential and commercial demolition in order to guarantee that no person’s health is put at risk during or after the project.

Let Bliss Demolition Lead the Way

Only a licensed specialist is qualified to remove asbestos before demolition begins, and the team at Bliss Demolition consists of reliable experts in asbestos removal. In fact, we have successfully removed asbestos from over 100 different demolition sites around the Central Coast. We take our work very seriously, which is why we are fully trained, licensed and insured for the removal and disposal of all bonded asbestos materials.

By trusting Bliss Demolition with your asbestos removal before demolition, you can be confident that the dangerous material will be entirely eliminated without causing any damaging health effects to others. We will remove asbestos in accordance with the SafeWork NSW standards and provide you with a certificate of clearance upon completion. This allows you to begin demolition of your residential or commercial property knowing that the environment is now safe and cleared for work.
